The output from this process will be a series of concise individualised vision documents which will contain a number of project proposals for Barrhead, Busby, Clarkston, Eaglesham, Giffnock Neilston, Newton Mearns and Thornliebank. The data accumulated covers a wide range of topics relevant to almost every department in the council. The responses to departmental discussions will help generate a shortlist of draft project ideas for each area which can be working into detailed proposals as external capital funding becomes available. It is expected that many of the comments expressed will not find their way into a Local Action Plan as; they are are unachievable, the capacity of the council to deliver is limited or many of the comments are about revenue funded services which are not eligible for capital funding.
